Oxfolk presents a Kitchen Ceilidh with Cath Watkins + Nic Bradford with caller Ian Nichols
This event is supported Folk Weekend Oxford

Join us for a ceilidh round your place - your kitchen, living room - anywhere that's big enough for you to have a dance. Online ceilidhs work just as well for one person and their favourite broom-dance-partner or household groups. Push back the furniture, and have some fun!

Cath Watkins
on fiddle and Nic Bradford on guitar have visited Oxfolk twice before with the band Jigfoot.  They play really tight, beautifully phrased tunes, that swing like the clappers!  There's more than a touch of swing and jazz from Nic, and deft fiddle playing from Cath.  Many of their tunes come from Hampshire, where they are based.  They make a delightful, compelling and beguilling sound that is just right for dancing.

Ian Nichols
is calling the dances. Known for his exuberance and brilliant timing, we're in for a fantastic night.

This event will take place LIVE in Zoom

Details of how to access the event will be in your ticket confirmation.  Please make sure you check your spam or junk email folders if you don't receive it straight away.

Ticketing

We are offering three ticket types for this event:
- Standard ticket is the ‘normal’ price that we would charge for the event
- Pay a bit more is for those who can afford to, and would like to help support live music and our artists
- Pay a bit less is for those who would find the standard ticket a bit of a stretch, for whatever reason

You can purchase whichever ticket you like; you don’t need to give a reason, and you won’t be asked for any proof of need. For online events you only need to purchase one ticket per household/computer.

We are trialling this ticket system to help make our events more accessible to more people, and to allow those who would happily pay a bit more to do so easily, helping us to subsidise tickets for those who can’t afford them.
