Zoom Ceilidh - Oxfolk presents Brown Boots and Will Chamberlain, with Erin Mansfield

Brown Boots is Will Allen on melodeon and Martin Clarke on fiddle. They have a fresh, inventive and whimsical take on traditional tunes, with a scattering of their own thrown in. Their musical background is rooted in dance music including morris, rapper and of course, ceilidh. Will plays with the ever-inventive Urban Folk Theory, while Martin plays with the sparkling Silver Street Ceilidh Band along with tonight’s guest Will Chamberlain on piano. The Brown Boots debut album ‘First Steps’ certainly brightened our 2020.

Erin Mansfield will be calling the dances. Erin's style is no-fuss clarity with enthusiasm and fun. She has a broad repertoire of dances from the British Isles and beyond which she calls at functions and festivals across the country.
