Bosun Higgs makes the most delightful, rumbumptious dance music, with a healthy dose of oomph, swing and lift. They play music you can’t help but want to dance to and we are very glad to see them at Oxfolk. They are Taz Tarry on fiddle, Carly Rose on percussion, Keith Holloway on melodeon, Neil Gledhill on bass saxophone, and Martin Banks on banjo. With long-established track records in well-respected combos including Old Swan Band, Token Women, Random, and Grand Union, we know that we are in safe hands!

Mary Panton is a highly respected and busy caller, and much in demand too. She has a lovely, relaxed and easy manner and above all she makes sure everyone has a great time!

It's great to be back and dancing in-person, but we must all be careful.

Ticket prices are: £13 standard, £8 concessions (eg unwaged, low income, students, pensioners), £2 5-17s and free for under 5s. We don't ask for proof of concession: if you can't afford to pay the standard price, you are eligible for a concession, no questions asked. Contact us for details of group discounts.

There is a licensed bar with bottled ale, cider, wine and soft drinks.
