Oxfordshire Greentech invites you to our Climate Solutions Conference, in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council, Mewburn Ellis and the International Tree Foundation.

With the warning from UN Secretary-General António Guterres that we are now in an era of "global boiling," the time is now for investment in and development of climate positive technologies at speed and scale, and to use existing technologies, more ambitious policies, and encouragement of behavioural change to get the low-carbon transition Oxfordshire needs. 

Guterres is quoted as saying, “In short, our world needs climate action on all fronts -- everything, everywhere, all at once.” 

This is our conference's underpinning thesis - that we need all sectors to come onboard and take climate action however we can.

That's why our conference will have two streams: sustainable transition and climate tech innovation. 

On the sustainable transition stream, we will have a panel on what the Oxfordshire business community needs to become more sustainable, presentations on nationally leading projects happening in our county, and a hands-on workshop to help businesses on their sustainability journey.

On the climate tech innovation stream, SMEs will pitch their innovations to an audience of funders and those interested in climate tech across two different sessions and we'll also host a panel on what should be done to accelerate the development and deployment of climate tech.

We will:

• Inform - share knowledge about pioneering low-carbon projects/companies
  
• Ignite - help green businesses to win more customers and climate tech startups to receive investment
• Inspire - create a space for new connections and collaborations
