Taizé and Sacred Song

Come and sing Taizé

Wren Hughes leads an evening of sung prayer from the ecumenical community of Taizé. These beautiful and harmonious rounds and four part chants are simple to learn and sing.
We will learn the songs in the first half of the evening and after a tea break gather again for a reflective time of sung prayer and silence.

No previous experience is necessary
Please arrive ready to start at 7pm

Wren has been offering Taizé and sacred song events for many years, inspired by the joy of singing together and the quality of stillness and inclusivity evoked by the prayerfulness of the chants sung in many different languages. She also leads Oxford Companion Voices (singing for people at the end of life).
