How to look at Rembrandt is the first in a series of four talks concentrating on Rembrandt's self portrait, an acknowledged masterpiece of European Art, which can currently be seen at Dunham Massey until 12th July. Emma will share her enthusiasm for this chance to see a masterpiece close up.
How to look at Rembrandt will help you get to know Rembrandt's art and life a bit better, and encourage you to look more closely at his work. He is frequently described as a genius: as a great story teller, an innovative painter of light and shade, and a remarkable portraitist. This is a chance to look for yourself.
Doors and licensed bar open at 5.45pm, Emma's talk starts at 6:15pm
