Kids in the Kitchen - Holiday Cookies for Ages 8-12

Join PICAchef Baking & Pastry Alumni and former K-7 educator, Chef Stephen, in this fun hands-on holiday cookie class. In this class, your child will learn how to read a recipe, how to properly measure ingredients, how to be safe in the kitchen and most importantly, how to make and bake different types of cookies for the holiday season to share with family and friends.

Working with a partner, your child will learn to make:

• Chocolate Chip Cookies
• Double Chocolate Cookies
• Oatmeal Cookies
• Butter Cookies
• Sprinkle Cookies

At the end of the class, your child will bring home approximately 12-18 cookies in a decorative tin (if they don't eat them all first!). An apron to use during class and to take home is included in the price (value $20). 

Please be sure to pack a snack for your child. Filtered water is available.
