Join French native and apple enthusiast, Chef Patrice, as he takes you on a baking and pastry journey that celebrates that quintessential symbol of autumn, the noble apple!
In this class, Chef Patrice will transport you to Northern France where you'll be immersed in the rich traditions and fall flavors of French apple pastries and desserts while celebrating our bountiful BC apple harvest.

The classic upside-down caramelized apple tart, renowned for its rich, buttery flavor and perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. - Tarte Normande
Discover the secrets behind this traditional French apple tart from Normandy, featuring tender apples, creamy custard, and a flaky pastry base. - Tarte Fines aux Pommes
Craft this elegant, thin French apple tart, celebrated for its delicate layers of sliced apples and subtle seasoning. - Pommes au Four
Create simple yet delicious baked apples, a versatile treat that highlights the natural sweetness and texture of fresh apples.
Participants will be working in pairs. Please bring some containers or boxes to take your creations home. A PICAchef apron ($25 value) is included for you to take home after the class.
