Day 1: Knife Skills / Life Skills
Recipes: Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Flank Steak
Day 2: Puff Pastry
Recipes: Sausage Rolls, Palmiers, Peach Hand Pies
Day 3: Sweet Tooth
Recipes: Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing, Ginger Chews, Chocolate Mousse, Tiramisu
Day 4: Bread
Recipes: Sourdough / Country Bread, Focaccia, Milk Bread
Day 5: Tour of Southeast Asia
Recipes: Gyoza with Soy Dipping Sauce, Five Spice Chicken Papaya Salad, Vietnamese Salad Rolls, Coconut Mango Panda Cotta
In this series, not only will each student learn new recipes, but they'll also develop their skills and techniques so they can adapt what they've learned at home. Cooking and baking are not just luxuries but necessary life skills that every teen should be equipped with.
