Breathing can help us to de-stress, focus and be more mindful. Learn how breathing affects the nervous system along with simple exercises you can use straight away to enjoy the benefits of this natural asset.

In the session you will learn:
- How to breath for calm.
- How to breathe for focus.
- Using your breath to guide your nervous system.
What happens during the event?
We will do some simple breathing exercises to help you develop a sense of calm and mindfulness.
I explain how the breath and the nervous system work together.
Later I will email material to help you to apply what you learn. This will include an edited (so that participants are not identified) video of the event. I will also send you three emails in the weeks following the event to remind you of its main points.
About Padraig O'Morain
I have practised mindfulness since the late 1980s, have taught mindfulness throughout Ireland and in London, have demonstrated mindfulness on ITV, RTE and TV3 and have had books on mindfulness published in several countries and several languages. These include Kindfulness – be a true friend to yourself with mindful self-compassion and Acceptance – Create change and move forward. My aim is to make mindfulness and related approaches easily accessible to people in their everyday lives.
