Monthly Art Circle at Rabauw Brewpub Eindhoven 

Art Circle is a more craft-focused monthly gathering for our active community. Each month we explore a new creative theme and focus on hands-on creation. Most spots are reserved for returning members and their friends or creative companions you’d love to share this experience with. The rest of spots are open to new faces, bringing fresh energy to the circle.

Theme of March - Speed sketch social

A playful, craft-focused creative social for curious minds.

In this two-hour drawing experience, participants are paired up and rotate every 10–15 minutes, meeting new creative partners throughout the evening in a relaxed, speed-meeting style format.

Each round introduces a new drawing challenge designed to spark connection through art. From blind contour portraits to collaborative experiments and visual “interviews,” the prompts encourage expressive mark-making, color play, and curiosity.

You might illustrate your partner’s personality as an animal or season, draw their “aura” in layered colors and patterns, co-create folded-paper figures, or switch pages mid-drawing to see how your styles collide.

This isn’t about technical skill, it’s about play, presence, and connecting through creativity. Expect laughter, unexpected results, and a welcoming space to make something meaningful together.

All materials provided. No experience necessary.

• Buy your own drinks at the venue
• Around 15 - 35 people usually join

Art Circle Monthly Plan

March 11th| Speed sketch social |  Fun, social drawing challenge with quick sketch rotations and creative prompts. Focus on speed, expression, and playful mark-making using markers and colored pencils.

April 8th | Agamographs (Optical Illusion Art) |  Create artworks that change depending on the viewing angle. Explore optical illusion and 3D effects using markers and colored pencils.

May 6th | Abstract Photo Collage (Bring Your Own Photo) |  Transform a personal photo into an abstract collage using cutting, layering, and hand-drawn textures. Explore composition, color, and abstraction.

June 10th | Inner Self Portrait Making |  Create an inner self portrait using drawing, coloring, cutting, folding, and layering. Focus on expression over realism through textures, shapes, and collage.
