Pakistan Association of Memphis is a forum of Pakistani American community residing at Memphis to take care of their social & cultural issues and also to organize and celebrate national and cultural events to create harmony and fraternity among the communities . As an entity PAM has excelled and attained recognition of local administration and others by participating in various mutual projects and events . We should , gleefully , adore the sagacity and wisdom of our eminent founding members for establishing this august forum which has not only provided building blocks among the inhabitants but have contributed a great deal in addressing the social and cultural issues. An earnest effort has been made by PAM over a period of time to support & organize various social, cultural and charitable projects both in Pakistan and in our adopted homeland. I am very proud to name a few of our projects. Halal food pantry, establishment of water wells in rural Pakistan and supporting education in Pakistan through TCF and DIL. We will Insha'Allah, leave no stone unturned in mustering and providing requisite funds for these significantly strategic and important projects. .We need to have a re- look in allocation of funds to certain welfare projects undertaken in Pakistan and in our adopted homeland . Not withstanding the volume and effects of support being provided for welfare projects in Pakistan , we need to scrutinize local and domestic projects keeping their significance and role in preserving the identity of our community and the future of our progeny.
