The Days of Debris

Seif Rouk was born and raised in the Khuza'a neighborhood in Khan Yunis. When the 2023 war started, he was 16 years old. He experienced displacement and siege, which deeply impacted his life. He wrote, so that he could preserve his voice. Through this book, Seif shares his story for the sake of all children living in a conflict zone, reminding the world that behind the veil of numbers, destruction and despair are human beings with dreams and hope for the future.
