Following her mother’s death, Sabrin embarks on a journey to understand her dual heritage, uncovering the choices and challenges that shaped her family’s intertwined destinies across Palestine and Tuscany.

In conversation with Palestinian educator and translator Hazem Jamjoum, this event promises deep reflections on identity, displacement, and resilience. Jamjoum is an editor at Maqam Editions and the acclaimed translator of works by Ghassan Kanafani and Maya Abu al-Hayyat.
