Zaid Hilal at Palestine House

Palestine House is excited to welcome Zaid Hilal!

Zaid Hilal will lead on main vocals and electric baglama. He is a compelling and eloquent Palestinian singer, celebrated for his mastery of the distinctive, ear-catching baglama. Originally from Beit Sahour, Zaid began his musical journey at the age of 10 at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Bethlehem. He holds a BA in Arabic singing, produces and records original albums, and performs extensively both nationally and internationally.

He will be accompanied by Raji Majed Ghareeb, a distinguished Palestinian pianist and synth player with deep roots in the local music scene. Raji began his formal music education at a young age at the Bethlehem Academy of Music and went on to excel at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music. He currently serves as an academic supervisor at the Conservatory, mentoring and supporting the next generation of Palestinian musicians.
