Gazelleband at Palestine House

Formed by a duo consisting of Palestinian oud player Reem Anbar and Irish writer-musician Louis Brehony, Gazelleband explores Palestine and its international connections through music and storytelling. Known globally as Gaza’s first female oud player and a music therapist, Reem recently led youth music activities in the camps of Lebanon. In 2024, she led the band on a tour of seven countries across Europe, North America, and the Arab world, performing at festivals, concert halls, universities, and community events. Gazelleband has released two recordings, Rihla (Journey) I and II, and is currently working on a new album featuring Palestinian and Irish musicians.
