Screening of Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk

Join us for a screening of the documentary film Put Your Soul on Your Hand & Walk, directed by Sepideh Farsi.

The film bears witness to the tragic realities of everyday life in Gaza through the lived experience of Palestinian photojournalist Fatma Hassona. Heartbreakingly, soon after the film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Fatma and her family were killed in an Israeli airstrike.

7:15 PM – 8:00 PM: Interview & Q&A with Ahmed Alnaouq
Ahmed Alnaouq, Palestinian author of We Are Not Numbers: The Voices of Gaza’s Youth, will be in conversation with event organiser and activist Nilly Brook. Together, they will discuss the targeting of journalists in Gaza. Copies of Ahmed’s book will also be available for purchase.
