Resisting x Writing Circle

A space to write, be heard, and find your people.

The ResistingX Community began in Brussels, born out of a desire to create community, to hold space for Palestinian voices, and to prove that writing is an act of solidarity as much as it is an art.

It is not a workshop; it's something quieter and more lasting.

A space for writers at every stage: the first-timer who has never shared a word, the amateur finding their voice, the professional returning to the page for the love of it. We write in English and Arabic. We operate across Cairo, Brussels, and London. And we welcome everyone.

Each cycle begins with shared prompts, a way of finding common ground before we open up into our own projects. From there, we write together and read each other's work with honesty and care. The feedback isn't prescriptive. It's a conversation.

But what stays with most people isn't the craft. It's the community. By the end of a cycle, the room changes. Strangers become collaborators. You find the people who understand what you're trying to say, sometimes before you do.
