Colour the World Better brings together a collection of films developed through community-based art and creative writing programmes in schools across more than six countries, showcasing the perspectives, stories, and imaginations of young people from diverse cultural contexts. Alongside these works, the evening will feature the premiere screening of A World in Light, a film that expands the conversation beyond the classroom to explore themes of identity, belonging, resilience, and shared humanity.
Moving between local creative expression and wider global narratives, the programme invites audiences to reflect on the connections that unite communities across borders. Through film, art, and storytelling, the event creates space for meaningful dialogue, critical engagement, and collective reflection on the social and cultural issues shaping our world today.
Hosted at Palestine House, Art Atlas: London is conceived not simply as a film screening, but as a gathering for conversation, connection, and exchange. Bringing together artists, educators, students, and community members, the evening seeks to foster empathy, global awareness, and a deeper sense of compassion through the power of creative expression.
