This work is the first in an ongoing series of Visitations to Alexandria and Cairo, exploring active remembrance through sound, memory, and the sonic landscapes of both cities, past and present. It brings together memories of what once was home with the reality of a home that still exists, yet has continued to transform since the artist left. The result is a mirrored version of home: distorted yet familiar, suspended between memory and the present moment.
