Live Lounge: KHALM

KHALM

An artist who creates conceptual musical projects at the intersection of rap and storytelling.

His latest EP, The Circle, scheduled for release on October 29, is a polyphonic narrative spanning a hundred years from 1948 to 2048 inspired by the history of a Palestinian family as well as his own life experiences. Consecutive tracks guide the listener through the experiences of exile, inherited memory, violence, and resistance, blending personal perspectives with a historical context.

For the artist, rap is both a storytelling tool and a necessity, a form of preserving memory and giving voice to those whose stories often remain unheard. A Khalm concert is an intimate encounter with a narrative where the spoken word plays a central role.
