Palestine Museum Scotland is delighted to welcome internationally-renowned Palestinian poet and performer, Farah Chamma.

FARAH CHAMMA Farah Chamma is a Palestinian poet known for her vibrant and unique spoken-word performances. Her performances are full of vitality, energy and passion - speaking truth to power and filling spaces with hope. Farah began writing poetry as a teenager and gained early recognition as the youngest member of Poeticians, Dubai's inaugural spoken-word collective, where she debuted public performances around age 15. She’s participated in many different events and festivals around the world including France, Germany, Jordan, Portugal, Mexico and Holland. She holds a master’s degree in Performance and Culture from Goldsmiths, University of London and a BA in Philosophy and Sociology from the Sorbonne in Paris. She is one half of the international musical duo chamaeleon.
TASMEEN MAHER is a writer and researcher based in Edinburgh, where she is working on the poetics, politics, and affect of the Palestinian speculative. Her writing has appeared in Poetry Online, VIBE, and BAHR Magazine, among others, and she was the 2026 inaugural winner of the Propel/Cambridge Poetry Prize, selected by Bhanu Kapil. She is in line with the Palestinian Campaign for Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, and she calls on you to reject Zionism everywhere, in all its forms.

This event is ticketed on a sliding scale as we will be paying the performers. Please note that we have a strict no food or drinks policy in the Museum and you will be asked to kindly stow any big bags before moving around the space.
