The Palmas Ladies Community Club (PLCC) was established in 1992, as a non-profit charitable organization. PLCC’s first mission is to support women and children shelters, orphanages, schools and other charitable organizations through donations of food, supplies, and financial assistance. In addition to the club's philanthropic mission, the PLCC provides a place where Palmas women can meet others, learn about our community, and feel welcome.

In 2021, PLCC became a tax-exempt organization, through the IRS 501(c)(3), Puerto Rico Hacienda Code 1101 and Act 20/22/60 Accredited (2022 CECFL Accredited). 

85% of all PLCC donations go to help victims of abuse, neglect, poverty and natural disasters in our local area and Puerto Rico.
