Les Sewing Sisters are Lun*na Menoh and Saori Mitome. The music of Les Sewing Sisters are sounds from sewing machines recorded and electronically filtered. The lyrics deal with the nature of making clothing, sewing, and designing costumes.

This Record Read-lease Party will showcase spoken-word iterations Les Sewing Sisters songs to highlight the sewing-filled lyrics.

The reading will be followed by a screening of the film of "Les Sewing Sisters Home Tour". Made during the pandemic, Les Sewing Sisters traveled to many closets around Los Angeles to perform for and in front of people’s clothes.
