Crepe Paper Hydrangea Workshop

Sat 17 Oct 2026 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Y Cwtch, CF313BL

Take your paper flower skills to the next level and spend the day creating a beautiful, full-sized Crepe Paper Hydrangea.

This is an intermediate workshop designed for anyone who has already attended at least one Paper & Petal workshop and is ready for a more detailed flower and a new challenge.

Hydrangeas are a real labour of love! Your finished flower will be made up of over 100 individually cut and shaped petals, which we’ll gradually bring together throughout the day to create one beautiful, full hydrangea bloom.

What You’ll Learn

  • How to cut and shape over 100 individual hydrangea petals
  • Techniques for adding shape and movement to crepe paper
  • How to construct the smaller sections of the flower before bringing them together into one large bloom
  • How to assemble and finish your hydrangea so you can take home a flower you’ll be proud to display

Choose Your Colour

Make your hydrangea your own with a choice of beautiful crepe paper colours. You can create your flower in shades of blue, purple, pink or white.

All materials and tools are provided, so you just need to bring yourself and be ready for a day of paper flower making.

We’ll take a lunch break from 1pm–2pm. Lunch is not provided, so please bring something with you or head out to pick something up during the break.

Please note: As this is an intermediate workshop, you must have attended at least one previous Paper & Petal workshop before booking.

This workshop is hosted at Y Cwtch, Bridgend.

On booking your space at our workshops you are agreeing to Paper & Petal's Terms & Conditions, so please read these before booking.

Please don’t forget to bring your glasses if you wear them for close-up work, as this flower involves lots of small, detailed petals.
