Tony Boobier | AI Expert and Author

A previous worldwide executive with over 40 years of international experience. Focussing on data, analytics and AI, and with a global viewpoint, he currently operates as an independent expert, executive mentor and advisory board member. He holds Fellowships and other qualifications in engineering, insurance, supply chain management, and marketing.

A well-known international speaker, editor / contributor to multiple publications, and author of 4 books: ‘Analytics for Insurance’ (2016), ‘Advanced Analytics and AI: Impact, Implementation and the Future of Work’ (2018), ‘AI and the Future of Banking’ (2020), and his lockdown project ‘AI and the Future of the Public Sector’ (2022).

Lucy Batley | Founder, Traction Industries

Lucy Batley’s tech experience spans 30 years designing for the digital world, her talent recognised at the outset of her career by winning EMAP’s Best Young Designer. Lucy built a strong foundation at the dawn of the digital era to bring products to the then-burgeoning online marketplace, working with renowned brands and artists including Audi, MaxMara, Samsonite, Vespa, Fila Sport and The Manic Street Preachers. She also designed the digital interface to launch the Euro into the UK to Barclays Bank SME division.

She has since founded and scaled digital design agencies and established Traction Industries, providing solutions incorporating Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies to drive innovation. A thought leader and visionary designer, Lucy is passionate about how AI can work with humans and is a sought-after speaker, AI expert and a broker.
