Manchester International Bubble Festival is the UK’s premier gathering for bubble artists — from curious beginners taking their first steps to seasoned professionals pushing the boundaries of what bubble art can be.

Hosted and curated by World Record holder Ray Bubbles, this five‑day festival brings together global talent for an unforgettable celebration of bubble artistry, innovation, and community.

Now in its 4th Edition and building on the success of three sold‑out BUBBLE UP! training events, the 2027 festival is bigger and more immersive than ever.

You will learn from world‑class instructors, discover new techniques, explore cutting‑edge equipment, and connect with bubble artists from around the world.
Whether you’re learning bubble art for the first time, or developing and refining your craft, this is the place to grow your skills, connect with the bubble community, and experience the magic of bubble art at its highest level.

Here are the details for each training package:

HOME EDUCATION DAY - A Calm Creative Bubble Experience

TUESDAY 2 MARCH 2027 (2 hour session)

Each 2‑hour session blends four short guided workshops with four gentle practice periods, giving children the perfect mix of learning and free exploration. They’ll enjoy outdoor bubbles, hand bubbling, and beginner bubble tricks, all delivered in a friendly, sensory‑aware environment. Between workshops, children explore tools independently, move freely, and build confidence at their own pace. A joyful, balanced bubble experience for curious minds and supportive adult‑child learning.

BEGINNER DAY - The Perfect Start To Bubble Art

WEDNESDAY 3 MARCH 10:00 – 16:00

A full, hands‑on day introducing the foundations of bubble artistry. Learn to make great bubbles outdoors, the best DIY and commercial solutions, hand‑bubbling techniques, and an introduction to stagecraft.

You’ll also gain practical guidance on how to start winning new work as a bubble artist. A welcoming, confidence‑building introduction ideal for newcomers, educators, and anyone curious about stepping into professional bubbling.

ADVANCED DAYS - Level Up Your Bubble Art

THURSDAY 4 MARCH & FRIDAY 5 MARCH 10:00 – 16:00  

Two immersive days for performers and educators ready to elevate their craft. Explore bubble sculpture, light‑table artistry, and dramatic special effects using helium, steam, and fire. Develop movement on stage, SEN‑adapted performance skills, and advanced stagecraft. You’ll also receive expert troubleshooting, professional tips, and take part in a professional photoshoot to enhance your portfolio.
