The Music Session: French 75 Cyrille Aimée × Shelly Berg

Join us for an enchanting edition of Parker Sessions celebrating the art of international jazz. Chic, international, playful, and contemporary, Grammy-nominated vocalist Cyrille Aimée brings a vibrant, younger sensibility without sacrificing an ounce of jazz credibility. Together with multi-Grammy-nominated master pianist Shelly Berg, the duo takes guests on a sweeping French-to-Cuban musical journey—giving Berg expansive room to curate an original, cross-cultural performance under the desert sky.

Evening Program

• 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM | VIP Guest Arrival: Reception at the Pétanque Court.
• 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM | General Guest Arrival: All other guests arrive at the Amphitheater.
• 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM | Main Performance — French 75: Cyrille Aimée and Shelly Berg take the stage together for a vibrant full performance, seamlessly weaving Parisian charm with Cuban rhythms.
• 7:15 PM – 7:30 PM | "In Closing": An engaging dialogue with Cyrille Aimée and Shelly Berg, discussing their creative process, rhythmic roots, and the fusion of French chanson with Latin jazz.

Artist Notes

• Cyrille Aimée: Raised in Samois-sur-Seine (the birthplace of Django Reinhardt) with French and Dominican heritage, Cyrille is a Grammy-nominated vocal force known for her scatting technique, gypsy-jazz influences, and infectious stage presence.
• Shelly Berg: A 5-time Grammy-nominated pianist, arranger, and Dean of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, Shelly has recorded and performed with legends ranging from Quincy Jones and Tony Bennett to Arturo Sandoval.
