Join authors Alexandria Burnham and Annie McCann in conversation with Eleanor Cooper discuss the ins and outs of drawing from history and culture when writing fiction.

Alexandria Burnham is an AWGIE award-winning screenwriter, novelist and writer of comics. A NIDA graduate (2016, Masters, Writing for Performance), she is best known for her feature film Unsound (Apple, 2020), which was nominated for best original feature at the 2020 AWGIE (Australian Writers Guild) awards.

Annie McCann is an Indonesian Australian author and emcee from Western Sydney. Founder of multiple literary networks and publisher of multiple short stories, Annie is passionate about representation in books, media and pop culture and works tirelessly to bridge the gap in the creative space.

Eleanor Cooper is a journalist and writer based in South West Sydney. She has published news articles, poetry and short fiction across a range of mediums, and is currently studying Communication, Creative Industries and Creative Leadership at University.
