INDUSTRY PANEL | THE STORIES WE NEED TO TELL

This panel will include survivors of war and Genocide from Cambodia, Rwanda, Burundi and Sudan. All of the panellists are storytellers who speak to school students, all of them have either published emotes or are working on their memoirs. This will be a conversation centered around the human impulse to tell our stories and how to find ways to heal through sharing stories of survival. Voices of Survival aims to be the leading entity that enables survivors and their descendants of war, genocide and natural disasters to share their stories of hope, faith and survival, in safe, moderated environments — using their wisdom and insights to inspire us to become better human beings.By being intergenerational and intercultural, Voices of Survival utilises the power of deep listening and storytelling to educate, heal and build a more compassionate and inclusive Australian society.
