Drawing inspiration from the mid-2000s output of Soma Records and the seminal sound of R&S Records, his productions blend timeless groove with modern club energy.

In recent years, James Vox has built serious momentum through standout releases on Kneaded Pains, alongside music on Hypercolour and Darkroom Dubs.

His music has earned support from some of electronic music’s most respected selectors, including Laurent Garnier, Roger Sanchez, Jamie Jones, Karotte, Radio Slave, and Âme — further cementing his reputation as one of Glasgow’s most promising underground talents.
