Join us at Patisserie House for a hands-on, beginner-friendly bread-making workshop designed to give you the skills and confidence to bake beautiful artisan bread at home.


This 3–4 hour class has been carefully planned and tested so everything runs smoothly, with clear guidance at every stage. Perfect for complete beginners or enthusiastic home bakers looking to learn new techniques.


What You Will Make

During the workshop, you will make four different breads:
Classic sourdough
Focaccia
Pesto swirl bread
Caramelised onion & thyme bread

What You Will Learn


We cover the full bread-making process, including:
Kneading dough by hand(A mixer is available if you find it difficult.)
Understanding proofing and how to achieve the perfect rise
Scoring techniques and why scoring is important
Oven temperature control and the effect of steam
Mixing flavours and how creative you can get
Shaping techniques for different types of bread
How to care for and maintain your sourdough starter at home

What You Take Home
All the breads you make during the class
A jar of sourdough starter
Knowledge, confidence, and practical skills you can keep using at home
