Popping up to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and cultural evolution. The Art Car Boot Sale teams up with SWG3 for its seventh edition.
Artists drive innovation and artworks live beyond their time, bring joy, creating change and enlivening the very atmospheres of society. On the occasion of SWG3’s 20th anniversary, we are delighted to be holding the seventh edition of the Art Car Boot Sale (Sunday 13 July, 2025) at the renowned independent venue.
More than an art fair, the Art Car Boot Sale provides an opportunity for individual artists to showcase and sell their artworks directly to the public. For those who value the place of art in our lives, as well as those looking for a beautiful object to live with, the Art Car Boot Sale is an occasion to acquire the next masterpiece at an accessible price. And importantly, to directly support the arts community that continues to transform the city.
This one-day edition of the Art Car Boot Sale brings together over 70 artists and artist-led organisations from across Glasgow and wider. Including Rachel Duckhouse, Scott Myles and Toby Paterson plus many more. The event reflects SWG3’s roots as a space created for artists — originally a galvanizer’s yard transformed through creativity and community — Art Car Boot Sale celebrates Glasgow’s vibrant arts scene and the artists who shape it. Previous editions of the Art Car Boot Sale have positioned Turner Prize winners alongside recent graduates. This egalitarian format aligns with the welcoming nature of Glasgow’s art community.
The full line up of artists participating in the 2025 edition of the Art Car Boot Sale will be announced soon.
