The Creative Lab is a space for dancers to not just receive information, but to reflect, experiment, and build tools that support them in rehearsals and creative processes.
This is our second edition, a three-day intensive designed for dancers and movers to explore floorwork, partnering, and creation. The Lab focuses on collaborative artistic exchange within a small-group setting that prioritizes depth, curiosity, and adaptability.
Led by Paula Sousa and assisted by Sophia Vangelatos.

• Small group of dancers for focused attention
• Encouragement of reflection, experimentation, and questioning
• Individual and group feedback from choreographers
• Exchange-based environment — not just instruction
• Explore set material and its dramaturgy
• Tools to strengthen your presence in rehearsals and creative processes.
Open to professional, pre-professional, and movement-curious individuals.

Because we can only offer one scholarship, we ask applicants to be thoughtful and intentional when applying—so this opportunity can go to someone who truly needs it at the moment.

Deadline: June 7 If you don’t receive a scholarship, you’ll have until June 17 to decide if you want to join by paying the full lab fee.
If you feel abundant and would like to contribute, there will be an option on the cart to donate towards an extra scholarship.
Process Showing
On the final day, we will share an informal process showing of the work developed during the lab.
This showing will be donation-based, and all proceeds will be evenly distributed among the participating dancers as a way to support the circulation and sustainability of artistic investment.
