Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master Course
You’re already doing the job. Now get the credential that proves it.
The Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master course with Paul Lister CST — where students average 94% in the exam.
If you’re already facilitating Sprint Planning, causing the removal of blockers so your team can focus on the Sprint Goal, and coaching people through Retrospectives — you’re doing the work of a Scrum Master.
The problem is, without the credential, nobody outside your team knows that.
The CSM certification changes that. It’s the industry-recognised proof that you understand Scrum, can apply it, and are serious about your career in agile.
This two-day online course gives you everything you need to pass the exam with confidence — and start using what you’ve learned on Monday morning.
“Paul made specific points on the course not only about what Scrum was, but also what it was not — which paid dividends in the final exam.”
— Zoe, CSM
Paul’s students average 94% in the CSM exam — 20 points above the pass mark.
The Scrum Alliance pass mark is 74%. Most CSM courses teach you enough to scrape through. This course is built to help you genuinely understand Scrum — and the exam results reflect that.

Who This Is For
This course is for you if:
- • You’re working in a Scrum team and want to formalise what you already know
- • You’ve been facilitating Scrum events — Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives — without a formal title
- • You want to move into a Scrum Master role and need the credential to get there
- • You’re working with agile teams and want a deeper understanding of how Scrum actually works
You do not need any prior experience with Scrum or agile. The only preparation required is turning up.
What You’ll Learn
Day One — The Foundation of Scrum
By the end of Day One, you’ll understand why Scrum works, when to use it, and how the framework holds together. You’ll leave with a clear grasp of:
- • The three pillars of empiricism — transparency, inspection, and adaptation — and why they matter in practice
- • The five Scrum Values: Commitment, Focus, Openness, Respect, and Courage
- • The three accountabilities in a Scrum Team: the Developers, the Product Owner, and the Scrum Master
- • The Scrum Artifacts — Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Increment — and the commitments attached to each
Day Two — Scrum in Action
Day Two puts the framework to work. You’ll run through a full Scrum Simulation, experiencing Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective in real time — so the events feel familiar, not abstract, when you hit the exam.
You’ll finish the day with:
- • A solid understanding of all five Scrum events and how they connect
- • The language and confidence to talk about Scrum accurately in the exam — and in your workplace
- • Miro Virtual Board templates for every Scrum event, ready to use with your real team
