During this fun, hands-on session, you will learn all about candles helping you make informed choices when buying, and you'll create:

Whether you're coming with friends, family, or simply treating yourself, this is a wonderfully chilled and enjoyable way to spend an hour. You'll leave with your handmade creations and the skills to continue your candle-making journey at home.

Want to make even more? We'll have extra materials available, so if you'd like to create additional candles or wax melts, you can do so for a small additional fee.

Meet Jane – Founder of Peacock Handmade Limited

My candle-making journey began over seven years ago when I attended a workshop very much like this one. What started as a fun afternoon trying something new quickly became a hobby, and before long, a real passion.As I learned more about the craft, I became fascinated by creating candles that weren't just beautiful to look at, but candles that people would genuinely want to burn and enjoy in their homes. I experimented with different waxes, fragrances, and techniques until I found the perfect combination of quality, performance, and scent.Today, Peacock Handmade Limited specialises in beautifully scented, handcrafted candles made from 100% pure soy wax and premium fragrance oils. Every product is carefully created with the same attention to detail and love for the craft that inspired me all those years ago.

While my day job is as a graphic designer, candle making is where my true passion lies. I love the creativity, the fragrance combinations, and the joy that a handmade candle can bring. Most of all, I enjoy sharing that passion with others and helping people discover just how rewarding candle making can be.Who knows? Just like me, you might leave this workshop with a new hobby that turns into something much more!

Important Information
Children are welcome but must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. Please note that this workshop is not suitable for very young children, as we will be working with hot wax and fragrance oils.  Please inform us if you have any allergies prior to the event start.

Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!  (Please note, you must have a valid entry ticket to CarFest to attend these workshops)
