Join us for a 3.8-mile moderate trail on Escondido Falls Trail in the Santa Monica Mountains, right off of the iconic Pacific Coast Highway! If we're lucky with rain we'll get to see some beautiful 2-tier, 200 foot waterfalls, and maybe climb up to the upper falls!

Hiking with us will be professor Christopher Mott, a senior lecturer in UCLA's English department. Professor Mott specializes in fields like American Literature, Digital Culture and Electronic Literature, and Postmodernism, and is an avid hiker of the Santa Monica Mountains. Fun fact: he was a National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete in 1978 and has his own Wikipedia page!
