Byte Night is a bi-monthly cinematic series hosted by PearlArts' lead audio engineer, Herman “Soy Sos” Pearl and rotating guests, that reimagines the vampire film through a multisensory lens. Each screening pairs a cult classic or under-appreciated gem from the vampire canon with lively discussions and live soundscapes, transforming the experience into something eerie, atmospheric, and unforgettable.

Prior to each film, a rotating panel of guest artists, scholars, and cultural critics will lead a brief discussion unpacking the film’s deeper themes—examining how vampire narratives intersect with contemporary issues such as race, gender, desire, and political power. These conversations invite audiences to engage critically with the genre’s rich, often subversive history.

Whether you're a horror enthusiast or a curious cinephile, Byte Night offers a unique fusion of sound, cinema, and cultural dialogue that lingers long after the final scene.
