Sampling 101 with Koala Sampler | DEEP DIVE SOUND

Explore Koala Sampler, a pocket-sized music-making app that turns your phone, tablet or computer (iOS or Android) into a powerful sampler and beat-making workstation. In this hands-on beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to record and chop sounds, build beats, sequence samples, use effects, and experiment with live resampling. We’ll also explore features like stem separation and the Samurai upgrade for more advanced editing and performance. No prior music-production experience is required… just bring your curiosity and get ready to turn everyday sounds into music! This workshop will be led by Herman “Soy Sos” Pearl, veteran producer and long-time user of Koala sampler. 

Base level price for Koala is $5.00 with 2 add-ons costing an additional $5.00 each. First five IOS and first five ANDROID users are eligible to receive a free Koala license with add-ons. Don't forget to bring your headphones and dongle/adapter (bluetooth won’t be an option.) Please reach out if you have any questions!
