Live Audio-visual Performances
Join us for a night of Audio-Visual celebration and performances. We'll kick things off with an open mic, so please bring your laptop and jam with us!
The open mic will then be followed with performances by:
Behind the signal by Talia'Kah:
Behind the signal is a live generative audiovisual performance combining VJing, coded experimental music, and real-time video capture. The piece explores signal, perception, and human-machine dialogue, unfolding as a form of electronic poetry where images and sounds continuously mutate in real time. Each performance is unique, shaped by the interaction between systems, performer, space, and audience. The audience is immersed in a hybrid environment where they can see both the final audiovisual output and the underlying creative process. A live screen capture reveals the generative systems in action, while cameras record the performer, the technical setup, and the audience itself. These layers are integrated into the performance, making the space, the crowd, and the moment part of the artwork. Visuals are generated using Coollab while sound is created live using TidalCycles. The audience experience is open and accessible, no technical knowledge required. The work invites participants into a contemplative yet active sensory environment where perception is destabilized and the boundaries between observer, system, and artwork dissolve. The performance aims to make digital creation visible, immersive, and participatory.
About Talia'Kah:
Talia’Kah is a French interdisciplinary digital artist working with audiovisual performance, generative art, interactive installations, 3D, video, game-making and creative coding. They enjoy working across different mediums and using whatever tools best fit the experience they want to create. Their work often explores perception, contemplation, transformation and interaction, drawing from dreamlike worlds, the relationship between people, technology and the spaces around us. They are particularly interested in the role of the audience and in creating experiences where people can become part of the work.
Open-source tools are an important part of their practice, alongside a strong interest in experimentation and exploring new ways of creating with technology.

Lithium Womb by LAPTOPBACK
From primordial chaos, a cosmic egg gestates. Metal liquefies into slime, entities and nature gradually emerge governed by their own physics, spawning through lithium-charged circuits until a strange settling into the hum of computer blue, a slow growing current embedded in screens and bodies, a reflection on processing today's world. Live lunar cycles, solar winds, and Schumann resonance data are pulled into the visuals, the performance calibrating to planetary signals through open data connections.
About LAPTOPBACK:
LAPTOPBACK is an audiovisual duo formed by METAL_UPA and SIIIO, London-based Singaporean artists working across interactive visuals and live electronic sound. Their practice explores post-humanist narratives and the interconnectedness of technology, drawing on open data such as solar winds and planetary movement to perform real-time visuals. This is performed alongside a Southeast Asian exploration of sound rooted in Electro, Hyperpop and Bass while incorporating Singaporean textures.
Raised in Singapore and based in London, DJ and producer SIIIO crafts a raw fusion of gritty electro and techno with an underlying sense of defiance. Rooted in a DIY punk ethos, his sound thrives on tension and intensity. With releases on international labels like Ovelha Trax, Gestalt.promo, and Tripallium Corp, he weaves industrial textures, thumping low-end, and Southeast Asian rhythmic influences into tracks that reflect the push and pull of living between two worlds. Kimverlyn Lim [METAL_UPA] is a London-based Singaporean artist materialising the presence of intangible residue into spatial choreography. With her background in interaction design and dance, her practice spans object movement, kinetic sound, interactive installations and physical computing. She is interested in capturing remnant memories of collective data bodies and the invisible infrastructures of the internet through open source data, and recasting interactivity as a communal tele-choreography of cause and effect.

Twisted dreams by Ali Bross
Ali will perform songs from his upcoming album, Artificial Insignificance, in an audiovisual live set. The images are created with a visual synthesis tool he has developed, responding to played notes and musical cues throughout the performance. The work explores the uneasy relationship between control, escape and isolation. It draws on the attraction of a world entirely of your own making, and the possibility of becoming trapped within it.
About Ali Bross:
Ali Bross is an Iranian-British musician and creative technologist based in London. His background as a performing musician sits alongside years of working with software and electronics. His practice spans building musical instruments, interactive installations and audiovisual performances, where he combines original music with custom visual synthesis software that reacts to and plays along with the music.
