The Power of Purpose in Business

This event is delivered in partnership with The Productivity Institute Scotland Forum as part of National Productivity Week.

Research shows that purposeful businesses forecast achieve 10% higher growth than traditional businesses with successful businesses being built on social prosperity and environmental sustainability. But what is business purpose? How can businesses make purpose work for their business?

We will hear from Sheryl Newman, CEO & Founder, Appetite for Business about the way that purpose shaped her business including leading to the B-Corp certification. We will also hear from Prof Bridgette Wessels, University of Glasgow, Co-Lead Productivity Institute Scotland Forum on the early findings of the project research Purpose in business: empowering employees and enhancing productivity.
