Penge Art Club

Penge Art Club, is a fortnightly event hosted Upstairs at Southey Taproom

We're bringing people together to play, create, and learn. You don't need to be a skilled artist to come to an art club, just have a desire for some time and space to mess around and try something new. 

Sunday 17th November   

We’re so pleased that we will be joined by our friend and art club regular, Karwai Pun. Karwai will share some of her genius creative ideas and guide us through the process of creating decoupage tiles. This is an opportunity for us to go as surreal  and maximalist as possible, or not, whatever fits your style and imagination!

Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing coloured paper cutouts onto it. It can be used to create really impactful and unique designs and breathe new life into tired or dull objects. It’s addictive. 

We will have the opportunity to make a set of four decorative ceramic tiles that can be displayed together or used as coasters or you could even give them out individually as gifts to friends. 

The ticket price is £25.00 and this covers all materials. You are welcome to being along your own magazines, paper, or photo inspiration to work with!

About Penge Art Club

Art Club events happen every third Sunday afternoon of the month and every first Wednesday evening of the month. 

At each event, we will focus on a theme or artistic medium, or we’ll set a new creative challenge with a special guest facilitator. Wherever possible all materials will be provided within the ticket price which may vary from event to event but we will endeavour to keep it as low as possible.
