Nos Lun ym mis Mehefin a Gorffennaf, 5.30 – 7.30yh

Ymunwch â ni am raglen chwaraeon padlo 7 wythnos hwyliog a chefnogol ar Lyn Nantlle, wedi'i leoli o Trigonos.

Wedi'i chynllunio ar gyfer pobl ifanc rhwng 11 a 18 oed, mae'r rhaglen hon yn cyflwyno cyfranogwyr i ganŵio, ceufadu, padl fyrddio sefyll i fyny (SUP), a'r sgiliau Swim Safe mewn amgylchedd diogel a diddorol. Mae'r sesiynau'n cael eu harwain gan hyfforddwyr cymwysedig Paddle Cymru ac maent yn canolbwyntio ar adeiladu hyder, diogelwch dŵr, gwaith tîm, a sgiliau chwaraeon padlo blaengar.

Mae'r rhaglen hon yn cael cefnogaeth ariannol drwy gyllid grant gan Byw’n Iach, sy'n golygu bydd cyfranogwyr ond yn talu £5 y sesiwn. Mae croeso i gyfranogwyr ymuno am gymaint o sesiynau ag yr hoffent.

Wythnos 1 – Llun 8fed Mehefin - Sesiwn Blasu Chwaraeon Padlo

Rhowch gynnig ar ganŵio, geufadu, SUP a gweithgareddau nofio dŵr agored.

Wythnos 2 – Llun 15 Mehefin - Sesiwn Sgiliau SUP

Dysgwch gydbwysedd, rheolaeth, technegau troi a sgiliau padlo ar padl fyrddau sefyll i fyny.

Wythnos 3 – Llun 22 Mehefin - Rhaglen Nofio'n Ddiogel

Rhaglen Nofio Ddiogel Genedlaethol sy'n cwmpasu ymwybyddiaeth o ddŵr oer, technegau arnofio, hunan-achub a chadw'n ddiogel o amgylch dŵr agored.

Wythnos 4 – Llun 29 Mehefin - Sgiliau Canŵio

Cyflwyniad i reoli canŵ, gwaith tîm a symud yn effeithlon ar y dŵr.

Wythnos 5 – Llun 6ed Gorffennaf - Sgiliau Dilyniant Canŵio

Meithrin hyder a gwella technegau canŵio trwy gemau a thaith fer ar y llyn.

Wythnos 6 – Llun 13 Gorffennaf - Sgiliau Ceufadu

Datblygu sgiliau ceufadu craidd gan gynnwys effeithlonrwydd padlo, troi a chydbwysedd.

Wythnos 7 – Llun 20 Gorffennaf - Sesiwn Dilyniant a Thaith Ceufadu

Rhoi sgiliau ar waith gyda heriau, gemau a thaith fer ar y llyn.

Dyffryn Nantle Paddle Sports
Monday evenings in June and July 5.30 - 7.30pm

Join us for a fun and supportive 7-week paddle sports programme at beautiful Llyn Nantlle, based from Trigonos.

Designed for young people aged 11–18, this programme introduces participants to canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding (SUP), and SwimSafe skills in a safe and engaging environment. Sessions are led by qualified Paddle Cymru instructors and focus on confidence building, water safety, teamwork, and progressive paddle sport skills.

This programme is heavily subsidised through grant funding from Byw'n Iach, meaning participants pay just £5 per session. Participants are welcome to join for as many sessions as they would like. 

Whether you are completely new to paddle sports or looking to improve your skills, everyone is welcome.

Programme Overview

Week 1 – Mon 8th June - Paddle sports Taster Session
Try canoeing, kayaking, SUP and open water swimming activities.

Week 2 – Mon 15th June - SUP Skills Session
Learn balance, control, turning techniques and paddle skills on stand up paddleboards.

Week 3 – Mon 22nd June - Swim Safe Programme
National Swim Safe programme covering cold water awareness, floating techniques, self-rescue and staying safe around open water.

Week 4 – Mon 29th June - Canoe Skills
Introduction to canoe control, teamwork and moving efficiently on the water.

Week 5 – Mon 6th July - Canoe Progression Skills
Building confidence and improving canoe techniques through games and a short journey on the lake.

Week 6 – Mon 13th July - Kayak Skills
Develop core kayaking skills including paddling efficiency, turning and balance.

Week 7 – Mon 20th July - Kayak Progression & Journey Session
Putting skills into practice with challenges, games and a short journey on the lake.

What to Bring

  • Old trainers or water shoes that can get wet
  • Swimwear or wetsuit if you have one
  • Towel
  • Warm change of clothes
  • Waterproof jacket if you have one
  • Snacks
  • Water bottle
  • Any required medication (e.g. inhaler)

Clothing Advice

Please avoid:

  • Jeans
  • Cotton hoodies
  • Flip flops

We recommend warm synthetic layers suitable for being outdoors near water.

All specialist paddle sports equipment, buoyancy aids and safety kit will be provided.

Important Information

  • Participants must be comfortable entering the water.
  • Sessions are weather dependent and may adapt according to conditions.
  • Qualified and experienced instructors will supervise all activities.
  • Parents/guardians will be required to complete medical and consent information on registration.
