Women’s Adventure Club – Gorge Walking Afon Ddu
Saturday 15th August | 10am – 4pm
Join our Women’s Adventure Club for a day of Gorge Walking. What is Gorge walking I hear you ask? Gorge walking is an adventurous journey up a steep sided river where you will encounter waterfalls, natural rock slides and deep plunge pools.
This friendly introduction to gorge walking is perfect for women who have never gorge walked before and want to experience the activity in a supportive and encouraging environment. And if you've gorge walked loads before you are also welcome to join. This day will be about having fun, experiencing an interesting landscape and building confidence with movement. There will be opportunities to slide and scramble and possibly jump.
The session will be led by Emily Ashton Hughes and a trainee instructor to create a welcoming, supportive space for women to develop their confidence outdoors on the rock and in the water.

We will move at a friendly pace with plenty of time for people to take in the wonderful environment that we will find ourselves in.
