Womens Adventure Club Festive trip to Manchester for Skiing & Snowboarding

Friday December 11th | 10:00am - 7:00pm

Join us for a festive day out on the slopes as the Women's Adventure Club heads to Manchester for some indoor skiing and snowboarding!

Whether you're a complete beginner looking to try something new or an experienced skier or snowboarder wanting some time on the slopes, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a winter adventure with a friendly group of women.

Christmas jumpers and festive accessories are very welcome! 🎄

What's included?

• Return minibus transport from North Wales
• A choice of a 2-hour ski/snowboard lesson for beginners or a 3-hour lift pass for those with previous experience
• All equipment - boards, boots, skis, poles, helmets
• A friendly, supportive group of adventurous women
• Time for a hot drink and cake before heading home

Which option should I book?

Beginner Lesson (2 hours): Suitable for complete beginners or anyone who needs to build their confidence and develop their skiing or snowboarding skills.

Lift Pass (3 hours): For experienced skiers and snowboarders who can confidently control their speed, turn in both directions, stop safely and use the ski lifts independently. You must be able to navigate the slope safely without instruction.

Please note: If you cannot confidently meet all these requirements, you must book a lesson rather than a lift pass. The venue may assess your ability before allowing access to the main slope.

Please select your preferred pick-up point when booking. Remember to pay for your parking before boarding the minibus.

Our plan for the day

• 10:00am – Llanfair PG pick-up
• 10:45am – Llandudno Junction pick-up
• 12:30pm – Arrive in Manchester and enjoy lunch
• 1:00pm – Skiing and snowboarding lift passes begin (3 hours)
• 2:00pm – Beginner lessons begin (2 hours)
• 4:00pm – Finish on the slopes, with time for a hot drink and cake
• 6:00pm – Approximate return to Conwy
• 6:30pm – Approximate return to Llanfair PG

All timings are approximate and subject to traffic and venue arrangements.

What to bring

The indoor slopes are chilly, around -3°C, so wrap up warm!

• Gloves (compulsory for entry to the slopes)
• Thick, long socks
• Warm layers, including a fleece or jumper and jacket
• Waterproof trousers or ski/snowboard trousers
• Hat and Buff
• Comfortable footwear
• Packed lunch and snacks or money to buy lunch from the varied restaurants and cafes on site
• Water bottle and small rucksack

You don't need specialist ski clothing. Warm outdoor clothing and waterproof layers are fine.
