Kinbaku LuXuria Intensive - Level 1
3-day intensive workshop in Kinbaku LuXuria style
This 3-day intensive workshop will bring us into the core of Kinbaku LuXuria, Wildties’ interpretation of what he has learned from his teacher Naka Akira.
From fundamental ties to more intense and tortuous suspensions, we will explore the beauty of this style by looking at its technical, aesthetic, emotional and philosophical aspects.
The workshop is designed for experienced tying couples who already have a solid foundation in Japanese bondage and basic suspension work, and who want to deepen their understanding of Kinbaku LuXuria in a structured, intense and conscious way

What we will work on
During the workshop we will enter the core of Kinbaku LuXuria style, working on technique, structure, aesthetics, intensity and communication.
We will move from the fundamental elements of the style towards suspensions, transitions and more complex variations.
The workshop will cover:
- TK/Gote with 2, 3, 4 ropes and beyond, as adapted by Wildties with a strong focus on safety;
- basic semenawa floor ties;
- basic suspensions of the style;
- Wildties’ personal variations;
- transitions;
- freestyle;
- aesthetic construction of the tie;
- management of intensity;
- communication between rigger and model;
- emotional and relational quality of the session.
The aim is not simply to learn new forms, but to understand how to build a session in which technique, body, intention and aesthetics work together.
Who this workshop is for
This workshop is designed for tying couples with experience in Japanese bondage and familiarity with basic suspensions.
It is especially suitable for:
- people who have already studied Kinbaku LuXuria or Naka Ryu;
- riggers with a solid TK/Gote foundation;
- riggers who can manage suspension lines and basic suspensions;
- models who are familiar with Gote/TK and basic suspensions;
- couples who want to deepen semenawa in Kinbaku LuXuria style;
- couples who want to work on aesthetics, intention and emotional quality;
- couples who want to explore variations, transitions and freestyle within a structured style.
The workshop requires active participation from both rigger and model.
Prerequisites
For riggers
Riggers must be able to:
- tie a solid and stable TK/Gote, in any style;
- attach and lock off suspension lines efficiently;
- manage basic suspensions safely and efficiently;
- handle the body in suspension with awareness;
- work with good rope handling skills;
- understand and respect basic safety principles in rope practice.
For models
Models should be:
- comfortable and familiar with Gote/TK;
- familiar with basic suspensions;
- familiar with the difference between nerve impingement and circulation issues;
- able to cross their hands behind their back;
- familiar with intense and progressive semenawa practice;
- able to communicate sensations, limits and needs clearly.
For both partners
Both riggers and models should be familiar with basic suspensions.
The organizers and teachers reserve the right to make the final decision on participant admission, in order to ensure safety, consistency with the level of the workshop and alignment with its goals.
Switching roles with your partner will not be possible during the workshop.
Focus for models
This workshop is not only for riggers.
Models will also receive valuable input to help them experience this kind of Kinbaku with more awareness, presence and agency.
We will work on:
- breathing;
- body awareness;
- pain processing;
- internal attitude;
- communication;
- management of intensity;
- ways to transform restriction into a positive, deep and conscious experience.
The aim is to give models concrete tools to live Kinbaku LuXuria with more safety, presence and emotional quality.
What to bring
Ropes
A set of at least 12 ropes is required, preferably jute, around 7–7.5 metres long and 5 or 6 mm in diameter.
Synthetic ropes are not allowed.
Cotton, linen or other materials not suitable for this type of practice are also not recommended.
If needed, raw or ready-to-use ropes will be available for purchase at the studio.
Clothing
Comfortable, fitted or sporty clothing is recommended.
For models, it is better to choose clothing suitable for rope practice, allowing freedom of movement and avoiding anything that may get caught in the ropes.
Since the workshop will also work on aesthetics, presentation and session quality, it may be useful to bring clothes or elements that fit the atmosphere you want to explore.
Photos and videos
Photos may be taken during exercise demos, but video and audio recording are not allowed, unless otherwise specified by the teachers.
Photos of your own partner during practice are allowed only with explicit consent and with full respect for the privacy of the other participants.
The style
The workshop follows the Kinbaku LuXuria style by Riccardo Sergnese, Wildties, ichi-ban deshi of Naka Akira.
Kinbaku LuXuria comes from the study of Naka Ryu and from a technical reworking designed to make the style more suitable for European culture, bodies and safety needs.
It is an essential, intense and communicative style, where tying is not only technical construction, but also relationship, aesthetics, tension, presence and intention.
In this workshop we will explore this core: how a few essential elements can become different, deep and personal sessions while maintaining structure, safety and stylistic coherence.
Cost and booking
The cost of the workshop will be shared directly by RedSabbath. To book your spot or request more information, please contact her directly.
