Kinbaku Delight
After six years, Kinbaku Delight returns at Peony Studio.

🇬🇧 ENGLISH VERSION
Kinbaku Delight
After six years, Kinbaku Delight returns.
Kinbaku Delight was born in the living room of Kurogami and Shiawase, in front of a small audience sitting close to the tatami.
The idea was simple: to create a space where kinbaku could be experienced in the intimacy of a real session, rather than turned into a performance prepared for an audience.
The person in the ropes is known, but the session itself is not prepared in advance. It develops in the moment through connection, mood, sensations and whatever happens between the people involved.
Two couples.
Two different sessions.
Nothing prepared in advance.
The experience
The audience will sit close to the tatami, with low lighting and very little separation between those watching and the session space.
Each couple will have approximately one hour for their session. The aim is not to reproduce a predetermined sequence or tie, but to allow what happens that evening to find its own direction.
After both sessions there will be time for conversation and questions: an opportunity to hear directly from the guests and explore choices, sensations and dynamics that cannot always be understood simply by watching.
The guests
Maru & Eli
Maru discovered the other side of the rope three years ago and has been tying intensely ever since, exploring what brings her the most joy in the practice.
With a background as an artist and dancer, she naturally brings principles from movement and visual art into her rope work. What she particularly values is the feeling of deep trust and the moment when her model is able to fully let go.
Maru and Eli have been tying together for two years and their connection in rope is constantly evolving. Maru describes their sessions as a space where Eli can open up, explore and bring something different each time.
Lexienawa & Licant
Lexienawa entered the world of rope in 2023 and quickly fell deeply in love with Shibari.
For her, rope is visceral, sexual and sapiosexual: a sweet and painful form of human connection that engages all the senses.
Licant is active in shibari since 2021 and based in Valencia, Spain,. His vision combines technical solidity and traditional
aesthetics with influences from the gothic scene.
