Side Cafe Orkestar: Live @ People's Bookshop

We are delighted to welcome the Side Cafe Orkestar in concert for the first time at People's Bookshop.

Established two decades ago at the Side Cafe in Newcastle, the Side Cafe Orkestar is a feisty eight-piece ensemble featuring accordion, flute, fiddle, clarinet, 'cello, guitar and percussion, that plays an eclectic range of music drawn from  Balkan, Klezmer, Polish Tango and Hot Club Jazz traditions.

The Orkestar's set will feature not only previous material, but selections from their brand new mini album -- Side Order --which will be available for purchase on the night.

Doors open at 6:30pm, the show starts at 7pm, and we end at 9ish

Tickets are just £5 and include drinks and nibbles.
