Enjoy a tour of Brampton's little house of huge heritage!

Come and join Chip and Emma for a tour of historical Pepys House. Samuel Pepys is famous for the diary he kept for nearly a decade which covered the Great Fire of London, surviving the Plague, and how he inherited this cottage in Brampton.

The first tour is at 11am and runs every half hour till 4pm. Once your tour is finished, refreshments are available in the garden.

Only groups of 15 can go around at any one time, but up to 12 spaces per tour can be booked in advance – so be sure to book yours to avoid disappointment, and receive a free guest book.

Tours and refreshments free. The house is owned by the Pepys House Charity, which relies on donations to sustain the future of the house. Please consider donating in advance when pre-booking, or with card or cash on the day.

Please note: We recommend turning up at least 5min in advance of your preferred tour time, even if you pre-book. Any pre-booked guests who have not arrived by this time will have their spaces freed up for drop-in guests.

Access notes: There are stairs as part of the tour. Please also note there is one small step down to the visitors' restroom.

Parking is available, but limited. If you require an accessible parking space, please let us know. Additional parking is also available nearby at the Church Hall.
