This webinar will provide access to a hybrid session of the afternoon programme of a one-day in person course which is being organised in Karlsruhe, Germany in conjunction with the PERC AGM. The afternoon session will provide an introduction the topic of assessment and reporting of mineralised brines with case study examples from three different types of mineralised brine deposits, namely: near surface mineralised brines; deep aquifer mineralised brines, and mineralised brines being accessed as a source of geothermal energy.
Provisional Webinar content: (a) Overview of assessment/reporting requirements; (b) reporting of salmueras in Chile; (c) Neptune Energy's deep mineralised brine project; (d) the EU's CRM-geothermal project (geothermal brines); (e) Discussion.

The one-day workshop (including this webinar) is being organised by PERC in conjunction with the German Professional Association of Geoscientists (BDG) and the recently formed EU International Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Resource Management (ICE-SRM).
